Best-Selling Financial Application For Cell Phones Now Includes Full Integration With Quicken And Excel
Bloomfield Hills, Mich., - August 17, 2004 -
Mobatech today announced the launch of Mobile Checkbook version 3.0, an upgrade to the most heavily downloaded financial software application available for cell phones. The best-selling software, which allows consumers to easily enter banking transactions and maintain their checking account balances using a standard cell phone, now includes full integration with Quicken and Microsoft Excel software.
With the launch of Mobile Checkbook Version 3.0, users will enjoy an improved interface that allows them to view a greater number of transactions on the screen at one time. The new version also provides users with enhanced features for tracking savings, spending and individual transactions.
"The enhanced features and ability to integrate Mobile Checkbook with Quicken and Excel help make the application an even more ideal choice for those that want to get a handle on their finances without hassle," said Greg Schwartz, president, Mobatech. "We've listened to our customers input, and the latest version of the software is a direct result of their valuable feedback. We've created a winning product that customers have been very happy with, and the latest additions should bring the Mobile Checkbook experience to an entirely new level."
With Mobile Checkbook 3.0, users can drill down into their transaction list to view payee, memo, date, time and transaction numbers. The new version provides users with the ability to view total withdrawal and deposit amounts in order to quickly view a comparison of how much they are saving versus how much they are spending.
Mobile Checkbook Version 3.0 also includes the same features found in previous versions such as the ability to quickly view account balances with the click of a button, the ability to maintain an unlimited number of bank accounts from one application, and the ability to e-mail a transaction list copy to a personal computer for review and storage off of the cell phone.
Mobile Checkbook version 3.0 was developed using standard Java technology - deployed on 75 million handsets by 34 cell phone carriers worldwide. The software is currently available to Nextel, T-Mobile, Cingular and AT&T; Wireless customers in the United States and Vodafone, Orange, O2 and T-Mobile in the UK.
Mobatech's Mobile Checkbook was recently nominated as a finalist for the "2004 Best Productivity Application" category in the Handango Champion Awards.
The application is currently available on the Mobatech, Nextel, Motorola, Cingular, Sony Ericsson, Handango and Cellmania Websites.
